Heather earned her Bachelor's and Master's of Accountancy degrees in 2001 and 2003 from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Since 2003 she has served a variety of clients including financial institutions, governmental entities and not-for-profit organizations. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Tennessee and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Association of Government Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Ms. Batson has served for several years on the committee for the Autumn Children's Festival for Ronald McDonald House.
