Becky received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1989. With over twenty years of accounting experience in government, private industry, and public accountancy, Becky has an emphasis in business taxes and tax-exempt organizations. She is also a Certified Valuation Analyst.
Becky is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is past president of the Chattanooga Chapter of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. She serves on the Accounting Advisory Board of the College of Business at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
